Mariah then becomes angry as well and the twins quickly confront one another. As he and Gary begin to approach them, Juliet points them out. Tyler quickly becomes angry, suspecting Mariah to be the one behind their switch. After they finish eating, Gary spots Mariah and Juliet just in time for Tyler to see them kiss. Before Mariah can explain that she's not really Tyler, Juliet suddenly grabs and kisses her.ДЄt the same time as this, Tyler and Gary had left the theater and went to the mall for dinner. She then goes on to notice that, Mariah has also been side-stepping all of her attempts at affection. As the day goes on, Juliet remarks on how attentive Mariah is being, explaining how Tyler is usually somewhat distant towards her. Feeling bad, Mariah finally gives in and the two go to the mall together. Despite Mariah's attempts to get Juliet to leave so she can find the real Tyler, Juliet asks if they can go and do something together. Before Mariah can think of what to do next, Tyler's girlfriend, Juliet, arrives. The Fox, however, simply wishes Mariah luck in discovering her 'true self' and disappears. He then goes on to explain that the siblings were meant to be born as the other gender, but instead got 'mixed up in the womb.' Mariah immediately denies this and demands that the Fox change her and Tyler back. It introduces itself simply as, ' The Fox' and goes on to explain that it was he who transformed both her and Tyler. Suddenly, the mysterious fox statue Mariah had bought a few weeks prior, begins to speak. Meanwhile, the real Mariah returns home from work, who, upon entering her closet to grab a change of clothes, is trapped and transformed into Tyler. Finally, Tyler finds it getting harder and harder to deny his feelings and him and Gary share a kiss.

He tries to fight these feelings, but they only continue to grow stronger upon their arrival to the movie theater. While there, Tyler finds himself feeling attracted to Gary. The two then go to the arcade to kill time. Gary, who had always had a crush on Mariah, happily agrees. Gary then arrives to pick him up and, in an attempt to avoid running into the real Mariah, Tyler tricks Gary into letting him come. Tyler accepts, but while trying to find enough money for his ticket, he finds himself becoming trapped in his sister, Mariah's, closet and being transformed into her shortly thereafter. Gary agrees, on the condition Tyler buys his own ticket. Tyler, out of boredom, invites his best friend, Gary, to see a movie. After they're magically turned into each other, however, will they accept their new forms or will they want to change back? What would it be like having your gender switched with your twin prior to your births? This is the case for Tyler and Mariah, who have been unknowingly living as the wrong sex for their entire lives.
